General
PoolComps is an initiative of the World Confederation of Billiards Sports (WCBS) and the World Pool-Billiards Association (WPA). After having examined the website and the game it is hard to imagine how to such distinguished organizations have come up with such a poor result. PoolComps is a disappointment in all aspects. I believe that a lot of money has been poured into making it known (I have seen advertisements in quite a few Pool competitions) and still very few people play there and the game is quite lame.

Games Offered
8Ball, 9Ball and Snooker
.

Site Design & Usability
The site design and Usability are pretty good and straight forward. I have seen much better websites but you can understand how to start playing and as all is done on the web (no client) the website supplies all the necessary data including tournaments, affiliate program, membership information and FAQ. The website used to have a forum but ceased its activity due to foul language. The site has been recently improved and new features have been added.

Game Design
As it is a 2D game design might be considered of somewhat lesser importance but still, a better job could have done to have a better design. I have seen much better designs in many other 2D games.

Game Usability & Interface
For a 2D game the interface is pretty good. The English is working but still all is not very intuitive and I had a hard time understanding how to control my shots and had to loose a few games before I got the hang of things. Again, even for a 2D game this is not one of the best I have seen. I did not like the lobby of the game which was also not very intuitive and easy to use compared with other games. The game is a Java game and is superior to games like Yahoo but still it is not what I would expect from such an initiative.

Game Physics
Relatively good, I like how the English works there. Overall reliable physics
.

Money Gaming
Yes, you can pay for money as a premium member and get some additional features. It costs $7.5 a month and you get features like Trick Shots, Slow Motion, Undo Button and better Practice Table. PoolComps offer 3 daily money tournaments ($500) and advertise big tournaments for up to $10,000. They offer the biggest prizes I have seen for tournaments.

Tournaments
Yes, PoolComps offer 3 daily money tournaments ($500) and advertise big tournaments for up to $10,000. They offer the biggest prizes I have seen for tournaments.

Conclusion
I think I have been to critic above about this game. Overall they have produced not a bad Java Pool game, but still I have expected more and I hope that they will be better in the future.
